Great car, great people

Bought a mk7 Golf GTD from here a few weeks ago and I wanted to wait a few weeks before leaving an honest review. The car is immaculate and drives like a dream! The car was exactly as described in the advert, there were no hidden surprises when I got there. Straight after purchase I took the car to my trusted mechanic who ran full diagnostics, which came back completely faultless. Took it again yesterday to see if anything came up after consistently driving it and the diagnostics were again completely clean, no hidden surprises. I have bought many, many cars through used car dealerships over the years and I can confidently say that I have not had a better experience than with Pendle Car Sales. Dilly and Helen were extremely helpful and accommodating with my purchase, the level of service I received is something you would expect from a main dealership and I do not say this lightly. I had been to 3 other dealerships before coming here and didn’t have a good experience with them, they didn’t seem to care or show interest. With Dilly and Helen there were no high-pressure sales tactics, feelings of uncomfortableness or that they were just trying to get a sale over the line. When I got there, they gave me the keys and let me have some time viewing the car alone without breathing down my neck, I felt comfortable. Dilly and Helen were warm and welcoming, they genuinely cared about my situation, actually listened to my requirements and were able to present a number of other options for me. I’m the type of car buyer that knows what he wants and I came specifically for the GTD, but the way Dilly explained the other cars that potentially could work for me as well, some which were of lesser value than the GTD, really shows as a testament to his knowledge and expertise of the car industry. Their approach was entirely consultative, and the final decision was left to me. Dilly even advised that if I need it then to take a day to think about what I want to do, what other car dealer is telling you this? If you’re in the market for a car and you want to buy from someone who genuinely cares about the service they deliver, I wholeheartedly recommend Pendle Car Sales. Their professionalism, dedication to customer satisfaction, and genuine care for their customers set them apart from the rest. Buying a car is always a stressful situation, speak to Dilly and Helen and see what they can do to help. They are great people and I’ll definitely be coming back. Thank you both for all your help.
